Two week celebration

Its been 2 weeks since I started this blog and the related You Tube channel.

So far I am feeling pleased with its progress – and I have got into a posting rate that is not too much and hopefully maintainable.

I hope that people find it interesting/helpful/enjoyable

So some figures from the first 14 days

  • 48 Posts (excluding this one) to the blog
  • 101 views from 27 visitors to the blog
  • 4 WordPress followers
  • 27 Unique videos uploaded to YouTube – excludes where I have uploaded a second version of a video to provide higher quality
  • 289 views of the videos for a total of 14.3 Hours
  • 4 YouTube subscribers

In the process I have improved my game recording abilities, but not my game playing :-). I have a better understanding of streaming technology and how to manage multiple sound channels for recording purposes, have setup Face Rig, and generally kept myself busily occupied, to the extent that 2 games I used to regularly play I haven’t touched for 7 days .

135 Days – What next?

Published by Hysnap - Gamer and Mental Health sufferer

I created this blog as a place to discuss Mental health issues. I chose to include Music ,PC Gaming videos and more recently tabletop gaming as all of these have helped with the management of my Mental Health and I thought people who find the Blog for these may also find the Mental Health resources useful. I am aware that a lot of people with Mental Health concerns are not aware that this is what they have or how to go about getting help, I know I was one of these people for at least 10 years. Therefore if one person is helped by the content on my Blog, if one person discovers the blog and gets a better understanding of Mental Health through the videos I post, then all the work will have been worthwhile. If not.. well I am enjoying making the videos and writing the blog, and doing things I enjoy helps my mental health so call it a self serving therapy.
