28 days of Blogging

We have reached 28 days since I started this little project.

So here are some stats and information.

When I started it was mainly the Blog and YouTube videos, since then I have started to live stream more reliably and have even had a guest commentator on one of my streams.

So how are we doing –

  • I am trying to average 2 blog posts a day, one of which will be linked to one of the videos. – So far we have
    • 80 posts
    • 56 unique visitors and 8 followers.
  • I am releasing 1 necromunda video a day on YouTube and Steam, and other videos as and when they are compiled and edited
    • 47 Videos have been edited and are currently available on YouTube and Steam
    • 385 views
    • 177 unique viewers – 4 subscribers
    • 1,170 minutes of viewing
  • In the last 10 days on Twitch I have streamed
    • 26 Sessions
    • 161 Viewers
    • 0.5 viewers per hour on average – during the last week this has risen to an average of 1 viewer per hour
    • 1,349 viewer minutes
    • 101 chat messages have been exchanged
    • 6 followers

Over this time I have worked to improve the quality of the streams and videos I am producing. I will admit that this has distracted me from producing Blog posts, which is something I intend to remedy going forward.

I have also set up a Just Giving page to raise funds for ReThink Mental Health, currently it has not raised any money, but its there and that’s a start.

So thanks to everyone who has visited, viewed and/or interacted with any of the mediums, and I intend to keep going for the time being.

I created this blog as a place to discuss Mental health issues. I chose to include Music ,PC Gaming videos and more recently tabletop gaming as all of these have helped with the management of my Mental Health and I thought people who find the Blog for these may also find the Mental Health resources useful. I am aware that a lot of people with Mental Health concerns are not aware that this is what they have or how to go about getting help, I know I was one of these people for at least 10 years. Therefore if one person is helped by the content on my Blog, if one person discovers the blog and gets a better understanding of Mental Health through the videos I post, then all the work will have been worthwhile. If not.. well I am enjoying making the videos and writing the blog, and doing things I enjoy helps my mental health so call it a self serving therapy.
