Valheim – Update

Ok so I accept I am probably behind the curve on this, but I have been playing it since early release and have nearly 500 hrs in game.. so I thought I’d share with you the beauty of Valheim

If you don’t know what Valheim is – here is a copy of my steam review

Update:- Now nearly 285 hrs of play, this game just keeps giving.. Yes it is brutal, Yes it can be unforgiving, but it is also rewarding and has generated many OMG and WTF moments.

We didn’t find the trader till nearly 200 hrs of play, we still have unlocked less than 10% of the map, we are currently preparing for Modder. This game plays best with friends.

Only warning comment – be careful how big you build your settlement, ours is of a size that Random world events result in Mobs inside our outer wall because it is larger than the area of influence

Original:- This is ARK meets Worlds of Warcraft .. with out quests .. but with great crafting.

For an early release this is a really good game, got to love the procedurally generated maps.. the size of the maps .. and the crafting mechanics

I created this blog as a place to discuss Mental health issues. I chose to include Music ,PC Gaming videos and more recently tabletop gaming as all of these have helped with the management of my Mental Health and I thought people who find the Blog for these may also find the Mental Health resources useful. I am aware that a lot of people with Mental Health concerns are not aware that this is what they have or how to go about getting help, I know I was one of these people for at least 10 years. Therefore if one person is helped by the content on my Blog, if one person discovers the blog and gets a better understanding of Mental Health through the videos I post, then all the work will have been worthwhile. If not.. well I am enjoying making the videos and writing the blog, and doing things I enjoy helps my mental health so call it a self serving therapy.
