The Wisdom of “The Vikings”

I’ve been watching the Vikings series on Amazon recently and there have been a couple of great lines/thoughts

The one that triggered this post was from Floki the boat builder, EP8 S402

The whole, “it is a truth that I don’t know yet”, resonated with me.

This has been a great series, Yes I know it is historically inaccurate, but hey it has been engaging.

Another of the great lines was from Siggy ..

I also appreciated Ragnars

and

this one is such a quote/comment of these times.

and also the ever deep

I loved the way that throughout the series Ragnar hated the power he had, and the responsibility that came with it, whilst truly wishing to just find good farming land to feed his people.

And another classic From Ragnar

and from Lagetha

From Harbard an ever true comment..

And finally the one that hooked me – Ragnar

This was a great program with both powerful and influential men and women, ok and a wild take on history.

Having enjoyed this I’ve dusted off my old miniature paints and I am looking forward to playing SAGA.

I created this blog as a place to discuss Mental health issues. I chose to include Music ,PC Gaming videos and more recently tabletop gaming as all of these have helped with the management of my Mental Health and I thought people who find the Blog for these may also find the Mental Health resources useful. I am aware that a lot of people with Mental Health concerns are not aware that this is what they have or how to go about getting help, I know I was one of these people for at least 10 years. Therefore if one person is helped by the content on my Blog, if one person discovers the blog and gets a better understanding of Mental Health through the videos I post, then all the work will have been worthwhile. If not.. well I am enjoying making the videos and writing the blog, and doing things I enjoy helps my mental health so call it a self serving therapy.
