Frank Turner

OK I know I have mentioned him twice so far in this blog – but I have not actually done one of my dedicated posts for him – so here we are.

To me Frank is modern folk at its best – songs for now that should still be sung in 100 years – these are timeless snapshots of humanity. For me the best thing is these are delivered with a punk ethos and an unapologetic this is me attitude.

So first I give u the track that reminded me to write this post – demons – a song that rings well with me an my MH.

And I think for the first time – I give you a song on the blog for the second time – my wife has numerous medical issues and last year spent over 80 days in hospital – this song with its refrain “We could get better, cos we ain’t dead yet” is one of our favourites and a truly uplifting sing along…

I created this blog as a place to discuss Mental health issues. I chose to include Music ,PC Gaming videos and more recently tabletop gaming as all of these have helped with the management of my Mental Health and I thought people who find the Blog for these may also find the Mental Health resources useful. I am aware that a lot of people with Mental Health concerns are not aware that this is what they have or how to go about getting help, I know I was one of these people for at least 10 years. Therefore if one person is helped by the content on my Blog, if one person discovers the blog and gets a better understanding of Mental Health through the videos I post, then all the work will have been worthwhile. If not.. well I am enjoying making the videos and writing the blog, and doing things I enjoy helps my mental health so call it a self serving therapy.
