I picked up The Walking Dead starter set for discount from Mantic Games, who recently announced they were going to discontinue the range, then announced certain elements would become print on request items. So being in lock down isolation due to covid seemed like a good excuse to paint the zombies from the core set, and here they are..
We start with Mid Belly Buster – who was involved in an eating competition when he ironically got eaten – now I am not sure that I have used Irony correctly here – but you got to admit it would be slightly humerous.
Next we have Our Cousin Errol – not the brightest bulb in the house even before his brains were eaten and he became a zombie-
Speedy Suzie – never liked waiting and in fact was the person who would push past a person in a wheel chair if she thought they were moving too slow – she got turned when she pushed in front of a crowd to get past and was attacked by the car accident victim.
Seeping Chest Wound – first appeared on TV in #Elementary running a hacker collective, although then he was know as Sucking Chest wound – his nickname changed post Z –
Half Cut Harriet- was turned mid pint – she lost part of her face as the zombie ripped her head round whilst the pint was still in her mouth-
Bandit Garry – was a car salesman before the apocalypse, who made an offer so good the customer snatched his arm off for it and then turned him Z-
Greasy Spoon Janet – owner and proprietor of the Crusty Cob prior to the arrival of some Zombie Bikers and ex clientele
Eric the Escape artist – after being put in a nursing home by his loving family – Eric kept sneaking out to visit his mates – hence when the Plague hit the rest of the residents he was in the process of laying a full house at Derks dodgy poker game – alas he walked out into a zombie horde – which he then joined
Chatty Kathy – was at the same poker game as Eric – she lost her arm after losing her hand – so to speak –
Nev – survived the first round of zombification – only to turn when a farmer shot him as he ran with a stolen chicken – hence the shotgun pellets in the back
Mrs. Schultz- headmistress at a comprehensive school – who had her throat ripped out when one of her teachers turned mid morning assembly
Patient X- last 2 photos are fuzzy as she attacked the photographer mid session when the guards were distracted
Never know I may even get some games in whilst in lockdown – well Solo games of course – if so I’ll do some battle reps for them.
