Dead Man’s Hand: Rogues’ Gallery – Maeve Newton

So after Calamity Jane I give you Maeve Newton

From the Store page Calamity Jane has the following write up.

Details

Maeve is both charismatic and perceptive and runs services at the Sassy Gal saloon. Her past is shrouded in some hint of a darker purpose, perhaps for revenge, perhaps for redemption.

Maeve “levels up” if she receives a picture card or ace as her initiative card.

She starts with the Stage 1 ability: Madam.

Abilities are cumulative as Maeve levels up.

Great escape games

She costs 3 Rep to add to a gang, and has skills similar to a standard Dude. As her write up says, each time she receives an Ace or picture card her abilities level up. The level 1 ability means that opponents never get the point blank firing modification, at level 2 Maeve will only be out of action if a natural 20 is rolled and her level 3 allows her to use 1 of her actions during an activation to influence an opposing character of Rep 3 or less and allow the Maeve’s player to use it as part of their squad for the turn.

Now those are fairly powerful abilities but allocating 2 face cards in a single game seems quite unlikely to me, but I still look forward to giving it a go.

Don’t forget the details of a couple of these Rogues are included in the “Legend of Dead Man Hand” rule book, and Doc Amos’ rules are available free from Great Escape Games site.

The others have hints to their abilities on their relevant store page.

I created this blog as a place to discuss Mental health issues. I chose to include Music ,PC Gaming videos and more recently tabletop gaming as all of these have helped with the management of my Mental Health and I thought people who find the Blog for these may also find the Mental Health resources useful. I am aware that a lot of people with Mental Health concerns are not aware that this is what they have or how to go about getting help, I know I was one of these people for at least 10 years. Therefore if one person is helped by the content on my Blog, if one person discovers the blog and gets a better understanding of Mental Health through the videos I post, then all the work will have been worthwhile. If not.. well I am enjoying making the videos and writing the blog, and doing things I enjoy helps my mental health so call it a self serving therapy.
