Dead Mans Hand: The Tong and Plains Indians

So having recieved my 3d printer I have been working on creating miniatures for some of the DMH gangs I didn’t have. Luckily with the Kickstarter for the next edition of the game, I have been able to pick up the cards for all the gangs (for the current version) at cheaper prices from Great Escape Games.

I have updated my look at The Tong and the Plains Indians with images of my finished gangs, but thought I’d share then here as well.

I have used the Vallejo Xpress Colours for these miniatures and love the way the black comes out – I currently don’t think they will be suitable for WW2 but more cinematagraphic and colourful figures they appear great. I have learned that if you make a mistake u need to repaint the area with white paint as the colours aren’t strong enough to mask a previous colour.

The miniatures for the Tong are from the 3d Breed Live or Die Wanted recent kickstarter of weird west figures. To get the numbers up I included the chinese railworkers from the same kickstarter, so let me introduce to you

The Boss –

The No 2

Several Gang members

And some Railway Workers

Next up we have the Plains Indians – these are built using Wargames Atlantic Digital STL offering, I find that the best way to get a nice result is to build the models in 3d builder or something similar and then print them rather than trying to print all the individual parts and assemble them.

First up the Chief.

The Medicine Man

Hunters

Warriors

I created this blog as a place to discuss Mental health issues. I chose to include Music ,PC Gaming videos and more recently tabletop gaming as all of these have helped with the management of my Mental Health and I thought people who find the Blog for these may also find the Mental Health resources useful. I am aware that a lot of people with Mental Health concerns are not aware that this is what they have or how to go about getting help, I know I was one of these people for at least 10 years. Therefore if one person is helped by the content on my Blog, if one person discovers the blog and gets a better understanding of Mental Health through the videos I post, then all the work will have been worthwhile. If not.. well I am enjoying making the videos and writing the blog, and doing things I enjoy helps my mental health so call it a self serving therapy.
