WW2 just got smaller

I am aware that it has been many months since I posted, as this blog in part is to support my Mental Health you can understand how sometimes I am not in a position to publish.

In the mean time I have been messing around with 15mm, following a very enjoyable game of “Worlds AFlame” from osprey games.

So I have been busy with my 3d printer – which alas has now died several hundreds of prints in and as I have a pip review pending we as a family are not in a position to replace it at this time. But on to the models.

I have been concentrating on the Interwar/Early WW2 period and as many will not be surprised I am also looking at the forces of the French. Currently I am unsure which rules I will use these figures with and as such I have based most of them individually so that I can create relevant grouping bases.

The rules I am considering are :-

  • Bolt Action
  • Chain of Command
  • World Aflame
  • Cross Fire

For the make up of forces I am primarily using Chain of Command TOE’s as these seem to be well researched and most are available through their community.

The first forces I worked on were some French Foreign legion forces – first up some rescaled Madox Historical Miniatures, these were originally 28mm single pose models with seperate heads. I used 3dBuilder to combine the body and heads and then rescaled to 15mm.

Next up are 2 squads of 3d Breeds March to Hell ww2 range – these are quite chunky , which at 15mm makes them nice to paint.

Extra support troops for the 3 squads –

Eskice Miniatures headquarters team –

Two Goumier Squads of Eskice Miniature 15mm figures.

Squad 1 of French early war infantry – all eskice miniatures

Squad 2 of Early War French infantry.

Squad 3 early war French infantry

Early war french HQ’s team

Early war French VB Launchers

Early war 75mm Field gun

Early war 47mm French Anti Tank gun

Early war french WW2 medium mortars

Early war french medic teams

Early war french trucks

Early war french FT17 tanks

Early war HotchKiss H35/39 tanks

Renault R35 infantry tanks

Somau S35 tank

Char B1 Bis Heavy Tank

Panhard 178 Armoured Car

I created this blog as a place to discuss Mental health issues. I chose to include Music ,PC Gaming videos and more recently tabletop gaming as all of these have helped with the management of my Mental Health and I thought people who find the Blog for these may also find the Mental Health resources useful. I am aware that a lot of people with Mental Health concerns are not aware that this is what they have or how to go about getting help, I know I was one of these people for at least 10 years. Therefore if one person is helped by the content on my Blog, if one person discovers the blog and gets a better understanding of Mental Health through the videos I post, then all the work will have been worthwhile. If not.. well I am enjoying making the videos and writing the blog, and doing things I enjoy helps my mental health so call it a self serving therapy.
