I have recently found myself in a situation where what I view as a truly Punk attitude has found itself stretched to near breaking. As a Punk – and this is by my definition – every one has the right to say, believe and do what they wish so long as it does not harmContinueContinue reading “As Voltaire apparently didn’t say –”

Accepting Your Mental Illness — The Bipolar Gamer
I wish to share this well written post from another blogger – I don’t agree 100% with its content, but do agree with its general concept. In order to manage your MH you need to accept it, for many of us it is not curable and will be with us for life, and as suchContinueContinue reading “Accepting Your Mental Illness — The Bipolar Gamer”
To be Suicidal
This week I had my PIP review.. because I am doing better than I was when I was first assessed , I am still not well, but I am better than I was. The rules of PIP and all state benefits state that you must inform them of a change in circumstance. So I did.

Another thought poem, So Joseph said to Mary,How the fuck did this happen,Don’t tell me a myth of Gabriel,Or the voice of god’s apostle,I love you my darling,And will be here forever after,But the child that you carry,Is not mine, And that its true,I will act as its father, and raise it as my own,So societyContinueContinue reading “So”

The truth is most people with MH are unaware, and believe that they are just like everyone else, but for some reason find it more difficult.ContinueContinue reading “Understanding Someone with Mental Health”
Moving Forward with Mental Health
I was reminded today that Mental Health is hard work. I have trouble using words like sufferer, disability, condition etc when referring to mine and others Mental Health. It is something that is internal, instinctual and as such takes effort to manage and plan for. The truth is most “treatments” for Mental Health are copingContinueContinue reading “Moving Forward with Mental Health”
