2025- It’s been Quite A Year

So as the year draws to an end I thought I do a quick thank you and recap on the year.

Don’t worry this won’t be a political analysis of the year – others will and have done that better than I can elsewhere. It will just be a look at this blog.

So some topline figures –

5,661 people visited my little blog this year and read 10,434 posts, nearly all of them (94.3%) were directed here by a search engine and the rest came via Facebook, Bluesky or the WordPress Reader.

Roughly 1/3rd of all visitors came from UK, and another 1/3rd came from the USA, the next most common countries are Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Poland which made up roughly a quarter. Visitors came from 98 different countries and territories, which for a little blog about Wargaming, Mental Health, Music and Politics is quite a wide spread.

My visitors download 6,617 various files and documents. With the most downloaded file being my version of the BoltAction 2 Free French in Indochina army list.

Over the year I wrote 55 posts containing 52K words, over 48 days.

A Quick Thank You

So I would like to say – thank you one and all for visiting, I hope you found it useful and interesting. I wish you all a wonderful 2026.

Published by Hysnap - Gamer and Mental Health sufferer

I created this blog as a place to discuss Mental health issues. I chose to include Music ,PC Gaming videos and more recently tabletop gaming as all of these have helped with the management of my Mental Health and I thought people who find the Blog for these may also find the Mental Health resources useful. I am aware that a lot of people with Mental Health concerns are not aware that this is what they have or how to go about getting help, I know I was one of these people for at least 10 years. Therefore if one person is helped by the content on my Blog, if one person discovers the blog and gets a better understanding of Mental Health through the videos I post, then all the work will have been worthwhile. If not.. well I am enjoying making the videos and writing the blog, and doing things I enjoy helps my mental health so call it a self serving therapy.
