BloodBowl 7’s: Norse vs Khorne

As part of the Bloodbowl league run by The War-Wiz Family, I had a game with my Khorne against a Norse team.. This is the second match in the league I’ve played, but totally forgot to take records of the first one – which is a bit of a shame as I won it 2-1.

For those who don’t know Blood Bowl 7’s is a cut down version of Blood Bowl from Games workshop, the rules are in the Death Zone supplement and you can purchase a 7’s pitch direct from GW, although other suppliers are available. The board used for this match was scratch built by my opponent and I have to say was really good.

Any way onto match 2, we ran a commentary during the game on Whats-App for the other players in the league and below I have recreated that commentary, I will also throw in a couple more photos I took but were not used in the commentary.

Kick off – Crunchy Nut won toss and chose to receive. The Norse setup and the ball is kicked, during its flight (kick off event) two players have arguments with the ref during the kick off both get knocked flat, so match started with both Khorne and the Norse having 1 stunned player on the field.

Norse T2: The yhetti went down… More to follow . Spolier, he was useless for a while.

Khorne T4: Big melee in the middle.. khorne no 11.. sends norse of with a badly injured

Norse T4: The yhettee is up!! Although even with frenzy only got push

Norse T5: The yhettee got a pow on Milo the toaster..although couldn’t break armour

Khorne T6: attempt to block norse of ball.. both down.. norse still standing due to block and turnover

Half time score 0-0 , 3 casualties vs 1 ko.. ko player continues sleeping.. khorne to kick norse recieve

Second Half:

Set up to kick off: Norse are slightly out numbered now, Managing to field 4 players to Khornes 7. The Ball is kicked – Kick off event: cheering fans, both teams generate the same interest from Nuffle and as such no prayers to Nuffle achieved. The ball lands and its a Touchback.. ball given to norse no4 Annifryd.

Norse T1: Norse have formed a makeshift cage, the yhetee once again showing he is a diva and not moving (rolled a 1)

Khorne T1: no 8 ko’d Benny.. with games first 3 dice block

Norse T2. Yhetee ko on the khonrigor … Bert got both down on pop. Pop KOd

Khorne T2: No. Photo press rep severely kicked.

Norse T3: Yhetee pulled forward freeing up ball carrier to make a dash…then got both down.

Khorne T3: Ball carried seriously hurt by Khorne no11.. ball pickup failed

Norse T4: Yhettee did a thing. Threw block on Tony tiger, getting a pow

Khorne T4: push Norse off ball. Then fumble pickup

Norse T5: Not much happened, Bert stunned self

Khorne T5: Khorne knock down yhetee.. pick up ball.. and fall on the gfi.. ball scatters off pitch.. thrown back on.. to scatter off again thrown back on ending mid pitch 3 from Norse End Zone

T6 Khorne pick ball up.. fail gti.. again

Bert the Ulfwerener gets voted MVP by the fans for the Norse team. Milton the toaster voted MVP by the fans for the Khorne Team, much to Dig ‘Ems annoyance, ho is seen leaving the field muttering I managed 3 casualties he only got one ..
